UNICEF – Young Ambassadors
Present in 157 countries, UNICEF is « counsel for the Children » for nearly 60 years. Depending on the generosity of the public, UNICEF is already doing many activities with young people. Our mission for us, young ambassadors, it is primarily to introduce the situation of children in the world.
Our role, Young Ambassadors, is to conduct operations to end to raise funds for programs such as emergency on the scale of the Department of Ardennes, the implementation of 10 hours of UNICEF to Haiti in the CORA supermarket, or still long-term actions, such as again 10 hours of UNICEF, for school construction in Mozambique.
For several years, our school is particularly active in achieving the actions of UNICEF. On the basis of collaboration between teachers, administration and students, many projects are established and are growing over the years. Indeed, each year, more and more students are mobilizing volunteers to lead to better projects. Our actions are versatile and affect all areas, which illustrates the spirit Chanzy and diversity. Students were able to develop their creativity and innovation to each project.
Bal de Promo
Since 3 years ago, the school organize a « Bal de Promo » for students in final year when the seats are sold for the benefit of UNICEF. The ball end our three years of study in high school Chanzy and the atmosphere is festive as it is for students and teachers. The first ball was held under the theme « Las Vegas » and was « Paris » and this year will be « Evening Chic Choc detail. »
Fashion Show
Last year, we were able to organize a fashion show in the dining hall through collaboration of many carolo shops such as New Deal and Celio. A subdued atmosphere, students converted models and all decorated with a cold buffet concocted by the chef made this evening a most enjoyable event for its participants.
Chanzy’k Festival
In this chic, added a touch more rock and roll with the establishment of a music festival, our famous Chanzyk Festival where different groups of students were able to exhibit their talent. This concert was held in the gymnasium of the school where students were able to share a highlight around snacks and music.
All these actions of the volunteers with enthusiasm and motivation have helped raise significant donations for the benefit of UNICEF.
